We have just done 24Km into Estella and staying at a hotel after albergues for the last 3 nights. Very hot today---about 30 degrees. Thousands of people on the road and the motivation for some of them is definately suspect---not all of them looking for enlightenment like me. Perhaps there should be a little test in the beginning to get rid of some of the rabble and just leave the camino to people like me who are serious about our quest.

Hi Chris, Love your comments!! fancy them changing it all. I'd send complaints direct to St James as he's the one that started it. and he's in a good place right now to shorten those roads and flatten out the hills. Will take him no time at all!!
Came home today from coffee morning and no Nigel in sight or sound - calling out searching every room, no answer on Mobile, no message, ute still here, not out at woodheap and Jerrys is too far for him to walk. Then remembered Danny Hatcher was in town and nige had gone for a drink with him a couple of days ago so rang Danny and there he was - having a beer! Dee off to Dubbo with Mum for Kahlee's christening and to check out things with accountant. I'm off to Dubbo for training on Monday. really need the days away at the moment and we have Mum next Friday for a week while Dee meets up with Cate at Kempsey to sort that out. Love and hugs Maz
